Sorry for the lack of updates. There has been a lot of stuff going on in a lot of directions, but the music is being taken care of and recorded.
A new cd is being recorded. Will update as soon as possible.
But while you are waiting, please, please, please visit:

Talk to you soon,

Hey everyone. Sorry for not posting sooner. The delay has been for good reason, but I have a few bits of news:
1)While I am still shopping the rock opera, a new band has evolved: Hell and Reason. It has Erin Zinberg on vocals, Mark Empire on drums, and yours truly doing the rest. We are in the middle of recording a new album right now. The track listing, while not in order, is as follows:
(vocals by Erin)
Grey Parade
Digital Dust
Unchain My Heart
Stone in Hand
I Believe
Right in Front of You
Between Hell and Reason (2011)
(vocals by me)
Better Better Best
I'm Losing You
Sympathy
We have done the music live at a few places and it has all gone over well. Lyrically and melodically, I am very, very proud of this album. The songs simply arrived like gifts. I will be talking to a young director this week about a video shoot or two this summer. If all goes well, it should mixed and mastered by late Summer. We have a new manager for the band, so expect lots of NYC shows.
#2)I am also working with the amazingly talented young composer from Philly, Mike Eppel, on an ambient album. He and I met about it again yesterday and the framework is up. I do not want to say much about it except that we will be going into a realm that I have always wanted to go, using Brian Eno's ambient work as a vague reference point.
#3) And yes, the acoustic album will come right after.
Along with all that, I have been asked to do some prose writing for a few people. I hope to hit the laptop soon and share some words of past, presest, future, and other.
I am looking forward to a new year of lots of new good work. Who knows? I may even get a Twitter account!!
Returning,
Mike
P.S. While the entire rock opera will be up on You Tube within about a month, here are two selections from it:
Mystical Rose
Pull You into Me
Please give me as many views as Rebecca Black!
